TYPE: Tandem-seat kitbuilt.
PROGRAMME: Prototype N22CA under trial in 1999; lost in accident 24 May 2000. Construction of second aircraft was continuing in mid-2001 and completed in July 2003.
COSTS: Kit US$25,070 excluding engine and instruments (2003).
DESIGN FEATURES: Three-quarter scale replica of Morane-Saulnier MS.500 Criquet, itself a copy of Fieseler Fi 156 Storch; uses Carlson wing, however. Quoted build time 800 hours.
POWER PLANT: One 103 kW (138 hp) LOM M322A four-cylinder piston engine driving a two-blade propeller. Fuel capacity 152 litres (40.0 US gallons; 33.3 Imp gallons) plus 7.6 litre (2.0 US gallon; 1.7 Imp gallon) header tank. Optional 119 kW (160 hp) fuel-injected and supercharged M332B for higher gross weight version (998 kg; 2,200 lb) with 197 litre (52.0 US gallon; 43.3 Imp gallon) tankage.
