SHERPA AIRCRAFT MANUFACTURING CO
Sherpa Aircraft is in the process of certifying the Sherpa 300 derivative of its earlier six-seat aircraft version. In 2001, the company announced that it had entered into a joint venture agreement with Khrunichev (of Russia) which would result in parts being manufactured in Moscow and Sherpa marketing the T-411 Aist and Aviotechnica SL-90. Sherpa is expanding its manufacturing facility at Scappoose, Oregon, at present 1,400 m² (15,000 sq ft), to accommodate increased production.
