ALEXEYEV

Semyon Mikhailovich Alexeyev (also written Alekseyev) was a chief designer for S.A. Lavochkin before setting up his own OKB (experimental construction bureau) in 1946. Produced series of twin-jet fighters and all-weather interceptors (I-211 to 215) and I-218 pusher armoured attack aircraft of 1948. Final type was Aircraft 150, based on Junkers EF 150 twin-jet heavy bomber. German designer Baade used this as basis of later passenger aircraft Type 152.
