Costruzioni Aeronautiche Novaresi SA, at Cameri, Novara, was subsidiary of Fiat. Among first designs were Lictor 90 (90 hp) and Lictor 130 (130 hp) low-wing cabin monoplanes of 1935. First production type was C.5 biplane trainer, 67 built 1939-41. C.5B and C.6 were derivatives. F.C.20 high-speed reconnaissance aircraft (April 1941) led to F.C.20bis tank destroyer (also used unsuccessfully as bomber interceptor).
