The prototype Titch first flew on 4 January 1967. Plans are available and by early 1991 about 500 sets had been sold. Approximately 32 plans-built aircraft have flown. Wood kits are available in Canada and the USA.
TYPE: Single-seat homebuilt.
AIRFRAME: All-wood structure. Wings plywood and fabric covered. Fuselage and fixed tail surfaces plywood covered, except for aluminium cockpit side panels. Rudder and elevators fabric covered. Taylor modified NACA 23012 wing section. Non-retractable tailwheel landing gear.
POWER PLANT: One 63.5 kW (85 hp) Teledyne Continental C85. Plans-built Titches fitted with engines ranging from 33.6 kW (45 hp) Volkswagen 1,600 cc modified motorcar engine to 78.3 kW (105 hp) Textron Lycoming O-235. Fuel capacity 45.5 litres (12 US gallons; 10 Imp gallons). 1,834 cc VW engined version has 32 litre (8.4 US gallon; 7 Imp gallon) fuel tank.
