Tipsy Aircraft Co. Ltd formed as sales organization February 1937 at London Air Park, Hanworth. Sold Tipsy S.2s built at Bristol (Kingswood), but manufactured B under Fairey licence, introducing many mods resulting in change of designation to Tipsy Trainer, 15 delivered by Second World War. In 1939 moved to Liverpool Rd, Slough, building 3 there 1947. Some Bs brought up to Belfair (cabin) standard, a few Belfairs being sent from Gosselies to D. Heaton (Yorks) for completion.
