Manchester woodworking firm F. Hills & Son obtained licence for Praga E.114 side-by-side high-wing cabin ultralight and made at least 30 1936-7. Subsequently built single examples of Pennine cabin monoplane, Helvellyn open-cockpit trainer and Bi-Mono (1941) slip-wing research aircraft able to take off as biplane and fly mission as monoplane.
