Plans are available for a full-size representation of the Supermarine Spitfire, known as the MJ-100. Four are under construction in France, two in South Africa and one in the USA. The latter is of glassfibre construction, being built by Mr Allen Salberman with a 447 kW (600 hp) SNECMA 12T engine. Specification details can be found in the 1988-89 Jane's.
