François Rey formed Société des Avions F.J. Rey 1935 to develop wings able to flex and reduce incidence automatically when flying through gusts. Built aircraft 1938, destroyed Second World War, then R.1 rigid wing (16 December 1949) and flex wing (3 January 1951).
