URSINUS

Oskar Ursinus, Editor of Flugsport, was from 1900 major figure in German aviation. In First World War designed at least 3 aircraft, largest being bomber/torpedo biplane with fuselage on upper wing and 2 x 160-hp Mercedes close together. Built as landplane at Darmstadt (1917) and as UWD seaplane by Gotha.
