Post-war glider firm at Bonn which in 1957 produced improved Doppelraab motor-glider developed into Elster (magpie); Elster B production version 1961 in all respects side-by-side aeroplane (95-hp Continental), and final Elster C (150-hp Lycoming) designed as glider tug. In 1966 Alfons Pützer helped form Sportavia-Pützer.
