TYPE: Single-seat motor glider/kitbuilt.
PROGRAMME: Developed in late 1990s.
DESIGN FEATURES: Forward-swept, high-wing monoplane. Improved version of earlier TST-7 Junior, from which it differs mainly in having circular section fuselage and T tail.
FLYING CONTROLS: Conventional and manual; similar to TST-6 except for one-piece elevator and absence of flaps.
STRUCTURE: Wings and fuselage as for TST-6; all-wood tail unit.
LANDING GEAR: Tricycle; fixed. Self-sprung main legs with 300x100 wheels; 250 mm diameter steerable nosewheel.
POWER PLANT: One 31.0 kW (41.6 hp) Rotax 447 engine and two-blade SportProp 1600 propeller standard; or suitable equivalent. Fuel capacity 25 litres (6.6 US gallons; 5.5 Imp gallons).
