TYPE: Side-by-side ultralight/kitbuilt.
PROGRAMME: Developed in mid-1990s.
DESIGN FEATURES: Braced high-wing monoplane; forward-swept, constant chord wings (wing section NACA 4415). Basically a short-wing version of TST-6.
FLYING CONTROLS: Conventional and manual (ailerons and elevators rod-actuated, rudder by cables).
STRUCTURE: Two-spar wing, with plywood and fabric covering; glass fibre wingtips; V bracing struts. All-wood fuselage except for glass fibre panel behind cockpit.
LANDING GEAR: Tricycle; fixed. Self-sprung main legs with 400x100 wheels; 300 mm diameter steerable nosewheel. Mainwheel brakes.
POWER PLANT: One 47.8 kW (64.1 hp) Rotax 582 Ul engine and two-blade propeller standard; or suitable equivalent. Fuel capacity 36 litres (9.5 US gallons; 7.9 Imp gallons).
