Company previously named Aerosport pty Ltd and Supapup Aircraft. Early versions (Mks 1, 2 and 3) of SupaPup hand-built at Hahndorf, South Australia, until cost of compliance with local airworthiness directives forced closure of company. Aerosport redesigned aircraft as Mk 4 in 1992 and returned to business with relaunched production line for kits. Most are operated under ultralight rules (homebuilt, uncertified: CAO 95 Pt 10). Two-seat AeroPup launched in 2002.
