BEST BRAND AUSSIE-AERO P/L

In 1985, Dr Brand produced the Leaders AM-JB1 light aircraft (22.7 kW; 30 hp Cuyuna 430R), registered N212RB, and AM-DS1 which was offered to the US Department of Defense. Dr Brand is now concentrating his efforts on promoting the current RB-1 and its associated Enviro propeller. The latter is another of Rolf Brand’s inventions and is marketed by his subsidiary company, Best Brand Propeller. Efficiency tests have shown it able to produce 210 kg (463 lb) of thrust from a 44.5 kW (60 hp) input when rotating at 2,000 rpm, an improvement of some 15 to 20 per cent over existing units.
