NEW KOLB AIRCRAFT COMPANY INC

The New Kolb Aircraft Company purchased design rights to Kolb series of light aircraft in 1999. FireStar continues to be marketed; the Laser has not been put into production. Kolbra launched at EAA convention, Oshkosh, July 2000. Total sales of all products exceed 1,500. In its 1,347 m² (14,500 sq ft) factory, Kolb has 18 employees and also produces assemblies for other kit manufacturers, including Rihn Aircraft.
In April 2002, Kolb announced that it had been appointed US assembly centre and distributor for the Ultravia Pelican Sport which is marketed as the Kolb Sport 600, six of which had been sold by August 2003.
