Brothers Howard and Joe Funk, Kansas City, developed Model B 2-seater, initially produced by Akron Aircraft, Ohio. Reengined in 1941, production switched to Funk Aircraft Co., ending 1948 with over 300 built. Rights acquired 1962 by Thomas H. McClish.
