Fletcher Aviation Corp. started 1941 at Pasadena, CA, building resin-bonded wood FBT-2 trainer, CQ-1A target control aircraft (not completed) and, 1950, FL-23 liaison/observation aircraft. Moved to Rosemead. FD-25 Defender light attack aircraft of 1953 led to FU-24 ag-aircraft of 1954, subject of agreement for assembly of 100 by Air Parts (NZ).
